Jim Hovland believes we need a new social contract for America, that we need a new, new deal in which people needn't worry about healthcare, pensions, retirement, monstrous student debt loans. He believes in a society where basic needs such as access to healthcare and quality education are considered a right, not a privilege.

Jim is solidly pro-choice and believes in full legal rights for gay couples joined together in a civil union or civil marriage. In short, he believes in human decency and human rights for all people.

This is why I'm supporting Jim, heck that's why I'm working for him for the next few months.

Please help Jim become the first democratic congressman from the western suburbs of Minneapolis in over 50 years.
