What is the number one issue facing the country today?Most people would say the war in Iraq or 47 million people without healthcare insurance… but not Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave. Let me remind you who Marilyn Musgrave is. She introduced the Federal Marriage Amendment in Congress. She is the architect for writing discrimination into our Constitution.And, of course, she also actively led the charge against the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). Unlike the majority of Americans, Musgrave believes that it is OK to fire someone based on sexual orientation. Click here to see and hear Musgrave in her own words. But I warn you, it’s ugly. It is time politicians like these were shown the door. Betsy Markey is running an aggressive campaign to replace Ms. Musgrave and she’s meeting with great success. Betsy believes in common-sense ideas. Things like people should be treated with respect judged at their jobs based on their performance. Simple, powerful ideas that the majority of Americans support.Now is the time to make the change and Betsy Markey is the woman to do it. We cannot afford to sit by and let this opportunity pass.
