We all watched in horror as Kathrine Harris, then Secretary of State for Flordia, stole the election for Bush in 2000, preventing any meaningful recount in Florida. Her reward was the FL-13 Congressional district. Well, not satisfied with that, she is now aiming for the Senate, leaving her Congressional seat vacant. Christine Jennings is running for FL-13, hoping to turn that district blue this year. She has been endorsed by John Kerry, John Edwards, Charles Rangel, TWU, UAW, International Union of Police Associations and many others. This is a tossup and both sides are spending large sums of money to try and win it.
Bill Clinton is hosting a fundraiser right here in my own NYC. Inspired by this, I am trying to help raise funds to turn Kathrine Harris’ reward district blue. Please help me and Bill Clinton elect Christine Jennings to the FL-13 House district.
