Inspired by Howard Dean’s presidential campaign, and our battle to successfully make him the DNC Chair, we now have a chance to let our voices be heard once again. As populists, we believe corporations have influenced both parties too often and that is the real reason we end up with terrible Medicare/Medicaid, social security, bankruptcy, foreign policy, and environmental legislation. David Sirota calls it a Hostile Takeover. That is what happened to us, and we have to fight it.
As long as we keep electing sell-out candidates, we will keep losing. We don’t want another Biden or Lieberman, we want a fighter. We want someone with integrity. We want someone who we can count on to represent us. We want Weiss!
Patty is not only progressive and intelligent, she has creative solutions, an open mind, and most of all, unsurpassable integrity. She isn’t afraid to come out in support of equality, or criticize corporate welfare that is hurting all of our pocketbooks.
