Hello family, friends, former colleagues, etc! As most of you know, I have lived on the West Coast, East Coast, and in between. Working in the Clinton White House and for Congresswoman Susan Davis in San Diego, CA has allowed me to see up close and personal the best of the best politicians/elected officials. I have been honored to work for people who have truly cared deeply about doing the right thing for the people.
Now, living in Texas in Collin County (just north of Dallas) I am very fortunate to have discovered another wonderful candidate. With less than a month before the November election, I am asking you to please help him. A former Houston City Councilman and Congressman, as well as the man who bravely stood up and filed a formal ethics complaint against Tom DeLay, Chris Bell is the right choice for Governor of Texas. He has the experience, intelligence, strength, Democratic values and commitment to ethics necessary to successfully lead Texas. Some of you live in Texas and others don’t. I am reaching out to ALL of you because I know you are committed to ensuring that we have elected officials who serve the people. A moral and sound leader of Texas benefits our entire nation.
Most of you know that I have been a professional political fundraiser in the past. I am NOT acting as one right now. I am not employed by the Bell campaign but am doing this voluntarily because I believe he is the best man for the job. That said, I am asking you for money. :) We all know that this is a critical time in the campaign when every dollar counts. Your contribution of $50, $100, $250, $1000, $2000 or any amount you are able to give will allow Chris to reach out to voters throughout the state. Please know that I understand you get asked for money frequently. I am only doing this for one candidate, Chris Bell, and only because I know how significant this race is.
