She’s not actually one of our clients, but Doris “Granny D” Haddock (D) became a national figure when, in 1999, at the age of 89, she walked from Pasadena, California to Washington, D.C. to support campaign finance reform. On June 17 she announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate seat, after Burt Cohen dropped his challenge to incumbent Sen. Judd Gregg®.
