<blurb>Dear Friend,

We have a historic opportunity for change in the 46th Congressional District of California this election. Things are looking increasingly good nationally, but we have an opportunity to create change close to home by defeating Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and electing someone who will support President Obama's agenda in Congress.

I believe that HB Mayor Debbie Cook the person who can do that - and she needs your help. With Obama in a dead heat in our district - we can win the district for Senator Obama and defeat Dana Rohrabacher.

By joining our campaign you can help bring change we can believe in right here in our community. Rohrabacher is vunerable. He is supported by only 50 percent of the likely voters and more than 50 percent of likely voters say they do not want a Republican member of Congress.

After 20 years in Congress, Rohrabacher has accomplished very little and his views do not represent the values of the people in his district. His record shows that he does not support protecting our coastline or bringing a responsible end to the Iraq War.

Anyone who knows me knows how I feel about Congressman Rohrabacher. We need change.

Debbie is running for Congress against Dana Rohrabacher because she shares Senator Obama's belief that we need everyone we can working together to solve the important challenges facing our nation.

For details - http://www.debbiecookforcongress.com

Like Senator Obama, she is not a career politician. she was a PTA President, mother and small business owner who helped organize our community on issues that were important to her.

She has organized for change for twenty years, championing the Measure C initiative that protected beaches and parks and fighting to protect and restore the wetlands at Bolsa Chica. As a city council member and mayor of Huntington Beach, she led the fight to stop the dumping of partially treated sewage into the ocean.

She is running for Congress to bring change to Washington and help tackle the issues that matter to the people in our district: the economy, energy, and the Iraq War.

I believe candidates with strong, sound stances deserve our support, and this is a race where your dollars can make the difference. Please make a contribution to this critical cause.

Sincerely,
Todd Sargent
