Millions watched our video, and hundreds of thousands downloaded talking points to convince their family and friends to get past the fear-mongering and vote Obama. On Election Day, Obama garnered almost 80% of the Jewish vote and won the electorially rich state of Florida. <br /> After Obama was elected, it took a few weeks to finish processing the checks and to tally up all of the outstanding bills. What emerged was disheartening, and a little frightening. Despite raising almost a quarter of a million dollars in just four months, our expenses had been considerably higher. To pay vendors while we raised money during the campaign, we paid most of our bills with credit cards. <br /> Despite our best efforts this year, we have been unable to raise the necessary funds from a select group of donors. So we are asking many people each to give a small amount. We need your help to clear our organization&#39;s debt and to remove a tremendous burden to Mik, personally. <br /> The good news is if we are successful, JCER will be in a position to respond to the repeated requests we have received to get involved in the health care debate, where older voters are among those most skeptical of the proposed changes.
