Scott is a stubbornly progressive politician who has the a real chance at taking over Hagel’s Senate seat. Scott is a rancher from the western end of the state who came close in 2006 to taking out the Republican House candidate in one of the 5 most Republican districts in the country. Scott is a great campaigner, and while the race will be tough, he has a great shot at winning that seat with some help from the national progressive community.
Not only is this important as a Democrat, but as a native Nebraskan, this seat has a special importance to me. Please help me help put Scott is in the Senate.
