<blurb>In 2002, Saxby Chambliss won a Georgia Senate seat by comparing his Democratic opponent (a Vietnam vet and double amputee who uses a wheelchair) to Osama bin Laden. Six years later, we have the chance to throw him out of office.

Jim Martin is challenging Saxby Chambliss ... and the race is now going to a DECEMBER RUN-OFF!!! On Veteran's Day, bloggers across the country raised money for Jim Martin's campaign (online and offline) to reclaim the Georgia Senate seat! In San Francisco, we met at House of Shields to have drinks with City Attorney Dennis Herrera -- and Jim's son, Frank Martin.

Our November 11th was such a rocking success that we're doing it once again!! On SUNDAY NIGHT (November 23rd) from 7pm to 10pm, join us at Slow Club at 2501 Maricopa Street (off 16th Street in the Mission District.) So please drop another $50 here on ActBlue, and then join us!!

</blurb>
