The ballot description for Proposition 8 makes it perfectly clear. Prop 8 "eliminates the right of same sex couples to marry."

As you know, we won marriage in the CA Supreme Court in May. But the battle continues in California's reactionary referendum process. And this is greater than marriage, and greater than California -- it's also greater than LGBT rights. This is not only about the legitimacy of LGBT relationships and dignity as equal citizens. It is about progressive issues and values. This is about fighting the radical religious right, that is being revived with the nomination of Sarah Palin, that is currently out-raising us in the Prop 8 campaign 4:1.

No On Prop 8, Equality For All is the coalition that is leading the fight to defeat Prop 8 and defend the fundamental right to marry for all Californians. Help me help them. Money goes to buying television ads to move the voters we need. Past experience shows that virtually every campaign in California that

spends more than the other side, wins. So please contribute at this crossroads in time.
