<p>An opportunity like this doesn't come around very often.</p>
<p>If you know me, you know how passionate I am about politics. The people we elect are <strong>our voice</strong> in DC. And the three candidates that I feel will be <strong>our voice</strong> for positive progress in this country are <a href="http://www.barackobama.com/">Barack Obama</a>, <a href="http://www.markbegich.com">Mark Begich</a> & <a href="http://www.ethanberkowitz.com">Ethan Berkowitz.</a></p>
<p>I strongly believe in these candidates and the positive long-term impacts they can have on the future of our country. Because of that belief, <strong>I'm asking you to join me in helping these campaigns by making a small contribution.</strong></p>
<p>Now I know that most of you have never given to a political campaign before or even considered giving to a political campaign before. I also realize that most of us don't really have much extra cash laying around these days.</p>
<p><strong>That's why I am not asking for an unrealistic contribution.</strong> Can you afford $10 or $25 or $50? We're not rich (yet) but I think that these are reasonable amounts that any of us can afford. <strong>To me, the new ideas, new energy and new hope that Barack, Mark & Ethan bring to politics is worth the cost of three lattes ($10) or dinner for two ($25) or one tank of gas ($50)</strong>.</p>
<p>I'll match your contribution.</p>
<p>We're not going to have an opportunity like this for a long time, an opportunity to elect true progressive leaders to the White House & to represent Alaska in Congress. All three candidates - Barack, Mark & Ethan - can have a profound, positive impact on the future of our country.</p>
<p>I believe in them so much that <strong>I am willing to match every contribution you make, dollar for dollar.</strong> In other words, you contribute the cost of three lattes ($10) and it'll be worth the cost of dinner for two. You contribute dinner for two ($25) and it'll be worth the cost of a tank of gas.</p>
<p>By donating through Act Blue, you can designate which candidate gets your contribution or you can spread your contribution among the three. It's up to you.</p>
