Now is when John Edwards campaign needs, and notices, the contributions and local fundraising spheres … because everyone’s focused on his fundraising numbers for 2nd quarter … which ends Saturday, June 30th.
We can’t wait. More than 30 states will hold primaries and caucuses on February 5th and 4 states in January. That’s only 6 months from today.
Big money contributors have front-loaded Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama. So if you want a choice … or a seat at the table … then contribute something now … right now … enough to keep John Edwards and the primaries competitive …
… before the 2nd Quarter contributions report – a big perception and media milestone.

Remember, John Edwards was the last man standing in 2004 and retains that base of voter goodwill, especially among grassroots advocates and … more and more … rank-and-file labor. Young union members are fired up over John Edwards. But he has much broader appeal nationwide and among other groups as well.
In fact, John’s ahead with voters in states already focused on the election, like Iowa and New Hampshire, especially among activists. Can you imagine where he’d be with money?
John Edwards in 2008 reminds me of Bobby Kennedy in 1968, and more. He suffered the death of his son as well as growing up in poverty and living his clients’ tragedies as a plaintiff attorney. He knows what needs to be done, has been willing to say it, and, I truly believe, will do it. Go to his website or watch C-SPAN to hear his stump speech … beyond the debates … where you’ll see that he’s on fire!
Whether or not you have decided to support John Edwards for President in 2008, if you want options, then you should contribute to his campaign before Saturday, June 30th
