We are supporting Dr Sekhon because we believe in his policies and because we also believe that by electing him, he will be a highly visible Sikh in the US which will help educate the American people as to what Sikhism is about and what we look like.
After personally experiencing 9/11, I saw how people mistakenly thought a man wearing a turban was somehow connected to the Taliban and sadly we were being held accountable for their horrible actions. We need to support Dr Sekhon by contributing to his election campaign to help get him elected so we can teach everyone that we love America and everything it stands for. We all felt the anger and pain like everyone else. Itâs important to have a visible Indian in the House so they can keep Congress focused on creating equal opportunity for everyone. Dr Sekhon needs your help in getting the word out. By donating money he can use the funds to meet all of his potential constituents and get them to vote for him. I urge you to read about him on his website and then please donate what you can. Please help..anything is appreciated!
On a personal note, I also urge our younger generation to get the word out by emailing this request & contribution page forward to all of our fellow Indian brothers and sisters. Although you might think that he is running for Congress in California and you live in another state, imagine how cool it would be to see him on television in the US Congress.
