The ballot description for California's Proposition 8 makes it perfectly clear. Prop 8 "eliminates the right of same sex couples to marry." Whether or not you have moral reservations about gay and lesbian folks, I hope you believe that gay and lesbian couples, like heterosexual couples, create committed, long-lasting, loving partnerships and should be treated equally under the law.

I'm creating this page in honor of lesbian friends who have recently been married in California.
