Corrupt Alaska Senator Ted Stevens is notorious for his excessive pork projects like the $320 million “bridge to nowhere.” He thinks the “internets” is made up of a “series of tubes” even though at the time he headed the Senate Commerce Committee charged with regulating the Internet.

But that’s not the worst of it. Senator Stevens is under federal criminal investigation by the FBI and the IRS for corruption. Evidently, Senator Stevens has a close relationship with an oil services company executive who has pled guilty to bribing Alaskan legislators.

The people of Alaska deserve better than Ted Stevens. Mark Begich is the Democrat ready to move Alaska forward. Born and raised in Alaska, Mark is currently the Mayor of Anchorage, where he has balanced the budget repeatedly and the economy continues to grow even under President Bush.

Support Mark with $25 right now and fund his aggressive campaign.

Recent polls show this race is already close—with Mark even polling ahead by as much as 6 points in the last few weeks. But with 4 months to go and up against a $2.1 million war-chest, Mark has his work cut out for him. It is up to you and me to narrow the gap and deliver the resources Mark needs to win.

Let’s send Ted Stevens into retirement.
