PROPOSITION 8 ELIMINATES THE RIGHT OF SAME-SEX COUPLES TO MARRY IN CALIFORNIA. This proposition changes California Constitution and provides that only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.The phone banking efforts have been futile as many people to do not anwser their calls due to the high volume of telemarketing calls. A powerful array of motivated conservative groups have organized against us and are spending heavily on TV advertisement.
