Daniel Biss is close friend of mine. I met him two years ago, while we were both at the University of Chicago – where he is a math professor. Daniel is one of the world’s truly outstanding people. He is a rare combination of intelligence, conviction, and honesty. I have no doubt that he has the ability to improve the lives of his constituents through open dialogue and hard work. He is the type of person that should be in public service!

I very much appreciate your support of my run for State Representative! I am a mathematics professor and grassroots organizer living in Evanston, IL.
I’m running because my experiences as a teacher have led me to believe that we’re not prioritizing education the way we need to be in Illinois, and because my experiences as an organizer have taught me that most people are hungry for a more open, inclusive political process. I intend to run a positive issue-based campaign that will bring as many new people into the political process as possible.
I’m running in an overwhelmingly Democratic district whose progressive values aren’t being represented by my Republican opponent. With your help, we can take this seat and bring a strong progressive message to Springfield. Thank you for your help!
