UPDATE: The fundraising event is over, having raised a total of $625 over the week for Mark Pera, and I got maxed out on matching donations at $160, and since the $500 goal was met, I also contributed an additional $50. I used my ownmatch page to contribute that $210 to Mark.
Thanks to contributors: GM, BH and IP in CA; DH in MD; DM in NY; JR, NH, PB, MH, JS, TM, PK, AF, BB, DM, WT and PC – all from the great state of Illinois! Two more contributors today (Thurs) got us to $500 for Mark. Thanks!

In honor of the current fundraising campaign Mark’s running, I’ll kick in $26 more if we can reach $1,000 by the Saturday deadline.)

  At midnight (central time) on Dec 22, I will deposit my matching donation here (up to my maximum of $160). I won’t contribute unless it’s to match a donation, so donate and make me open my wallet for Pera..
  I’ve held two previous fundraising/matching events to boot corrupt Democrats and replace them with Better Democrats (to vote out William Jefferson in Lousianna, and just earlier this month in support of Mark), so rest assured I’ll be good for my pledge
  Also, if the total raised from ‘ticket’ sales exceeds $500 by Dec 22 midnight CST, I’ll throw in an extra $50 on top of my match.
  As noted in the UPDATE above, we’ve reached $500 already and I matched with my $210. I’m setting a new goal of $1,000 and I’m sure with 2 days left I’m sure we can make it if you all spread the word for Mark. I’ll kick in $26 more if we make it. THANKS!
