I wanted to make it easy to find our candidates and contribute to them concisely via act blue (you only have to enter your credit card once!). So read the blurbs and scroll down to make individual donations. And drop me a line if you'd like to see more names on the list.

* Mark McCracken is our candidate for Congress--and he is a respected County Commissioner of Clearfield County (respected even by local Republicans for his creativity and competence). He is running against a Republican who has no experience in public office.

* The DNC needs your help, as they are running far short of their Republican counterpart, the RNC. They have, however, put lots of seats in play by spending early to create the 50 state strategy. Obama will need the DNC to be well funded for the General Election.

* Chris Carney's district touches on a section of Tioga County. Carney beat Don Sherwood in 2006 and represents much of Williamsport., all of Bradford County and parts west.

* Eric Massa is running for Congress in NY-29, which borders Tioga County and covers Corning, part of Elmira, and reaches up to part of Rochester. He lost a close vote in 2006 and would be a mover-and-shaker in Congress.

* Note that we have some state level candidates such as Don Hilliard (PA state senate: www.hilliard08.com) John Morganelli (PA Attorney General: www.johnmorganelli.com); and Rob McCord (PA State Treasurer: http://www.mccord2008.com) who are not yet listed with act blue.
