Who We've Been Waiting For

Very few people are able to stay true to course in the world of politics, but from Sierra Leone to good ole’ Virginia, Tom has proven again and again that his heart is steady and reaching for justice. I know him to be a man of deep integrity who puts the common good before all else. Because of Tom’s commitment, creativity, drive, honesty, and (I promise) political genius, I have given my money to help him fight for the common good. I hope you will too.
Let me tell you more: I credit Tom with much of the effort to galvanize the religious left since 2000, an effort that swung the ‘06 elections. Tom has done extensive work for just solutions in Darfur (not the usual quck trip to a refugee camp for a photo shoot, thank God). And Tom is still the sort of man that will stop campaigning at 10pm to spend 45 minutes helping grassroots organizations (like mine) figure out how to write an effective blog.
I honestly believe that getting Tom into congress will radically change the political landscape for all of us. He is who we have been waiting for.
