Saturday, June 14th, 8pm Bowery Poetry Club 308 Bowery, between Houston and Bleecker (by subway, take the F train to 2nd Ave, or the 6 to Bleecker.)The night will be packed with a diverse lineup of bluegrass, classical, folk, rock, and electronic music, and will go non-stop until 4am. Admission will be by donation to Music for Democracy. Our goal is to support candidates for federal office and facilitate public awareness campaigns that advance the agenda of progressive musicians, their fans, and the music community at large. MFD connects both well-known politicians, musicians and young upstart bands with a nationwide network of peers and fans who are passionately engaged in the electoral process.
