My friend, Rosemary Palmer, is running for Congress in the 10th District of Ohio. She’s in a tough fight, but can win and provide leadership in a district that desperately needs effective representation. Rosemary is a former journalist, teacher, small business owner and activist. After her son was killed in Iraq in 2005, she became a sharp critic of not only the war, but of members of both parties who refuse to work toward a responsible end to the war. She’s a pragmatic progressive who will work tirelessly to bring our troops home from Iraq safely, get the economy moving forward, provide access to affordable health care, and work with others in Congress to create a modern energy plan to help end our dependence on foreign oil.
