Twitter Integration

We now support contributions via Twitter!

You must have an ActBlue Express account to contribute via Twitter. Start by setting up your ActBlue Express account.

To give using your Twitter account, tweet:
“donate $amount @candidate via @actblue“
For example, to contribute to @BarackObama, try this: “donate $5 @BarackObama via @actblue for a better future“
A few guidelines about how this works:

• Your message must begin with donate.
• You must include an amount, beginning with a $.
• Only one candidate per tweet.
• Make sure you include via @actblue or we won’t see your message.
• Make sure your updates aren’t protected. We can’t see your message if your account is protected.

Feel free to add a reason for your gift to the end of your message. Your tweet isn’t just an instruction to ActBlue. It’s also a public announcement of your gift. We’ll respond to you with a message, so be sure to check your mentions and direct messages for a result.
