Bold progressive Tom Perriello is using his race for Virginia governor to show Democrats how progressives can fight boldly in the era of Trump.
One recent example is when Trump announced the United States withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accords. Perriello hit back hard. He did the same after House Republicans voted to kick 23 million people off their healthcare to pay for tax breaks for the rick.
Tom has also taken a strong stand against pipelines that will hurt communities, and in Congress he took bold votes for progressive priorities ranging from health care to climate legislation to the Dream Act.
