The New York Times reports that "a political shift is underway in the South" that could lead to Republican defeat and putting control the Senate in Democratic hands.
With just one week of voting left, these candidates need your support to TAKE BACK THE SENATE.
Jaime Harrison (SC-Sen) is in a dead-heat race against Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a top Trump enabler. Jaime overcame poverty and went on to become a teacher after attending Yale and Georgetown Law.
Rev. Dr. Raphael Warnock (GA-Sen) is the Senior Pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, the former pulpit of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He’s leading in polling and fundraising amongst a pack of 21 opponents in a special election to unseat incumbent Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler, the wealthiest U.S. Senator. Jon Ossoff (GA-Sen) is in a tight, toss-up race to defeat an early supporter of Trump, incumbent Republican Sen. David Perdue.
Cal Cunningham (NC-Sen) is the veteran ahead in polling of Republican Sen. Thom Tillis, one of the most vulnerable Republicans up for re-election in 2020.
Mike Espy (MS-Sen) was the first Black Secretary of the Department of Agriculture. He’s running to defeat incumbent Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith, who has made jokes about public hangings. This is a razor-thin race with Espy only 1 point behind Hyde-Smith.
Can you donate to win Senate seats across the Deep South and flip the Senate to Democratic control?
You can also donate on this page to incumbent Sen. Doug Jones (AL-Sen) who prosecuted the KKK and is in a virtual dead-heat with Republican challenger Tommy Tuberville, and Kara Eastman (NE-02), whose strong Get Out The Vote operation is basically also Joe Biden's GOTV operation in Nebraska -- where electoral votes are awarded by congressional district.
(Donations on this page to the PCCC Strategic Fund will go to our Election Protection program to stop Trump from stealing the election. You can also donate to the Progressive Change Campaign Committee's work to take back the Senate and win up and down the ballot in 2020 on this page or by mail.)
