With the midterms a month away, small-dollar donors gave $833 million in Q3, pushing ActBlue past $20 billion raised in its history
This week, ActBlue officially crossed $20 billion raised on our platform—a milestone after 22 years as the premier Democratic technology platform.
We got here despite intense scrutiny from MAGA Republicans looking to disrupt Democratic infrastructure. They’ve done this by attacking ActBlue’s mission with partisan investigations and political pressure, betting that donors would eventually back down. With just a month to go until the 2026 midterms, these baseless tactics aren’t working. ActBlue and the donors that power it are stronger than ever. Here’s how:
We hit $20 billion just 123 days after crossing $19 billion raised. In comparison, it took ActBlue 192 days to go from $17 billion to $18 billion, and 163 days to go from $18 billion to $19 billion. That’s our fastest billion since the 2024 presidential election. Here’s what the latest billion dollars looked like behind the scenes:
- 3 million+ unique donors gave through ActBlue during this stretch
- 22,000+ campaigns and organizations raised money on ActBlue in this window
- The average contribution size was $41
- 7 of our top 10 fundraising days since crossing $19 billion came in September alone
A History-Making Third Quarter
The strength of small-dollar donors was on full display this quarter. Donors gave $833 million in Q3 2026, ActBlue’s largest non-presidential quarter on record. July, August, and September each set records for their month in a non-presidential year.
Some of our biggest days this quarter followed primary contests across the country, showing a base of small-dollar donors ready to support Democratic nominees and secure victory this November.
