Winning elections takes more than great candidates. It takes the infrastructure to back them. This month, ActBlue is rolling out the Financial Suite, a set of three new products (Donate by Bank, Call Time, and Federal Compliance) that bring fundraising, call time, and compliance into one platform.
The launch comes at a moment of real momentum across the Democratic movement. The number of candidates using ActBlue is up nearly 51 percent over the same point in the 2022 midterm cycle. Federal campaigns are up 38 percent, and down-ballot candidates are up nearly 68 percent – particularly in states where Democratic candidates have historically had less infrastructure to build on.
When more candidates and mission-aligned causes step up across the country, their staff needs tools that match the moment. ActBlue’s Financial Suite is built for teams juggling disconnected tools, so they can get time back to focus on winning.
Call Time
Call time raises more money per hour than almost any other fundraising channel. For most candidates, it runs on a stack of disconnected tools: one for contact lists, another for donation history, a spreadsheet for pledges, and none of them talking to each other.
With Call Time, donor lists generate automatically from your ActBlue contribution history, with each donor’s giving record visible before the call begins. After the call, pledges log automatically and a personalized follow-up with a donation link is ready to send in one tap. The whole program runs from your phone.
The hours that used to disappear into managing the tools go back to talking with donors, giving candidates more time to spend where it matters most: building the relationships that win races.
Call Time is available today at no additional cost for eligible ActBlue entities. Activate it from your dashboard.
Federal Compliance
Every federal campaign must report each dollar in and out to the FEC on a quarterly schedule, and the filings are public and legally binding. For most treasurers and campaign staff, meeting that bar without errors means stitching together a patchwork of disconnected tools.
That is why we built Federal Compliance directly into ActBlue. From the moment you log in, your contribution data is organized and formatted for FEC reporting. Your team enters expenditures directly in the tool, keeping treasurers in full control of every line, while Schedule A, Schedule B, and Form 3 generate from the same source of truth for your staff to review before anything goes to the FEC.
Federal Compliance gives finance teams their time back so the energy of the campaign goes where it belongs: into reaching voters, raising money, and winning the race.
Federal campaigns can sign up directly from their ActBlue dashboard.
Donate by Bank (ACH)
Every dollar a campaign raises that goes to processing fees is a dollar that does not go to organizers, ads, mail, or staff. For a $5,000 donation, the credit card processing fee is $197.50. Donate by Bank brings that down to $20.
For mission-aligned causes, the math matters more. Every dollar from a major gift should go as far as possible toward your mission. Donate by Bank brings your biggest donors onto the platform, replacing checks and wire transfers with the same dashboard, donor records, and reporting your team already uses, so more of every dollar goes where it counts.
Donate by Bank is available for ActBlue Express donors contributing $250 or more. Eligible entities can opt in from their ActBlue dashboard. With this launch, ActBlue now supports six electronic payment methods: credit and debit cards, ACH, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Still building for every moment
The Democratic movement has always run on volunteer hours, grassroots dollars, and the conviction that a better country is worth fighting for. What campaigns have lacked is not hustle, but a connected set of tools built for the job. That is what the Financial Suite is built for.
Donate by Bank helps you keep more of every dollar raised. Call Time turns your contribution history into a working call program. Federal Compliance turns your fundraising data into a filing-ready workflow. Together, they bring every operational task into the place campaigns already are, so candidates, staff, and treasurers can feel confident with every call, report, and large-dollar gift.
These are three products today, and the start of something bigger: a one-stop shop built specifically for the campaigns that need it most.
